A responsible approach to insight
Humanova began with a question: what if organisations could listen earlier, respond thoughtfully, and make wellbeing part of everyday work?
Vasu Shobhit founded Humanova in 2020 after recognising a persistent gap inside modern organisations: companies may care about employee wellbeing, but often lack the systems, insight, and trusted support needed to act before problems become serious.
Workplace stress, poor management practices, and unhealthy cultures can affect confidence, collaboration, attendance, engagement, and an employee’s decision to stay. Too often, the signs become visible only after people have begun to disengage.
Humanova was created to help close that gap. It brings together employee support, regular check-ins, coaching, leadership development, feedback, and privacy-conscious workforce insights in one connected approach.
The goal is not to monitor people. It is to help organisations understand where support may be needed—and respond with care.
Personal wellbeing and workplace systems both matter. The platforms address different needs while sharing a commitment to accessible, human-led support.
For individuals
A business-to-consumer platform designed to help individuals find and access wellbeing, coaching, and related support based on their personal needs.
For organisations
A business-to-business platform that helps employers, HR teams, and leaders build structured wellbeing programmes, strengthen managers, listen to employee feedback, and understand team-level patterns.
The distinction matters: individual support can help someone navigate a personal challenge, while organisations must also examine the working conditions that shape employee experience.
Vasu’s education and professional experience across the UK and US helped shape his view that technology should provide clarity and access—while sensitive workplace decisions still need human judgement.
2015
Graduated with a BEng in Computer Science and Software Engineering. The university recognised him on its Dean’s List, and he later returned to support its alumni community in India.

Completed an MBA focused on business analytics and information management, connecting his technology background with organisational decision-making and business performance.

Experience across technology, finance, insurance, public administration, analytics, and sustainability helped him see how systems and leadership decisions influence the people who work within them.
International workplace experienceVasu’s approach recognises that software alone cannot solve employee mental health challenges or workplace culture. It can, however, make support easier to find and help leaders respond to patterns responsibly.
Create consistent, voluntary ways for employees to share feedback and experience.
Keep personal support conversations confidential and focus employer insight on aggregated patterns.
Connect employees with resources and human-led coaching or professional support, depending on the programme.
Give HR teams and managers a clearer starting point for investigating concerns and taking responsible action.
Humanova is not a replacement for clinical treatment, empathetic management, or healthy working conditions. Technology is intended to support access, listening, and responsible organisation-level decisions.
Humanova has a working presence in India, the United States, Sri Lanka, and parts of Europe. Its approach recognises that language, culture, working practices, access to support, and privacy expectations can differ between regions.
Client partnership
Humanova’s first African client partnership is with Fieldwork Africa, a market and social research organisation with research coverage across all 54 African countries. The partnership provides a foundation for supporting a widely distributed workforce while protecting employee privacy.

Vasu’s work through Devdoot received a written commendation from Shri Ram Nath Kovind, former President of India. The message recognised Devdoot’s work in timely healthcare support, mental wellbeing, and emotional resilience, as well as Vasu’s decision to return to India after completing his master’s studies in the United States.
These principles guide how Humanova approaches employee wellbeing, workplace culture, and the use of workforce insight.
Make appropriate support easier to access before challenges begin affecting health, work, or relationships.
Protect employee privacy and build an environment where people can share feedback without fear.
Individual resilience cannot make up indefinitely for unhealthy workloads, poor management, or culture.
Use workforce patterns to ask better questions and make responsible, human-centred decisions.
Short-term output achieved through constant pressure can carry a long-term cost for both employees and organisations.
Vasu’s vision is for employee wellbeing to become part of how organisations operate—not a benefit used only after something has gone wrong. Humanova aims to help leaders recognise workforce signals earlier, equip managers for better conversations, and make confidential support easier to access.
The ambition is straightforward: help organisations understand their people better, respond earlier, and create working environments where employees can perform without sacrificing their wellbeing.
